Art Jonker was inspired by the beauty and
the plight of the Sea turtle confined to a large glass tank at
the Vancouver aquarium. In captivity, the turtle was
churning the water continuously, trying to escape. Art
wanted to show the majestic sea turtle confidently swimming
through the oyster banks, at ease in its domain.
